Personal Development
Getting promoted is often accelerated by improving who we are and how we show up. This is a rewarding process that changes how we feel every day. It should be a lifelong practice that rewards us during and after we have retired. I retired once and to this day engage in the work I love most without having a boss.
Personal Development is self-actualization. Maslow said it is on the top of the pyramid for human existence. We fight for various types of security and then we find our purpose and enjoy the pursuits that define why we are here.
I know that I have always been and enjoyed coaching. I have had many opportunities to coach thousands of people in different capacities. My drive is my Personal Development practices in play to discover what I can do.
You have a career, but you also have a life. Personal Development improves both. One of the best states to achieve is Executive Presence. It is often the intangible state of creating followers because of who you are and how you behave.
Self-Care is my priority. I have burned out three times from being ambitious and then frustrated because of the resistance. Self-Care helps you modulate your efforts with the balance necessary to sustain. I can now work endlessly, if I desire, and know how to continuously refresh. In fact, I refresh several times a day to make my productivity time blocks more productive and wind up fulfilled at the end of the day.
I have many daily practices such as mindfulness, reflection, and relaxation which are not wasting time but keeping me on track to achieve the goals I set for the day and the Vision I set for my life.
Finally, the most productive way to change who you are and how you show up is to raise your Vibration. The basis of this art is a Gratitude practice. Healers can charge over $300 to help you raise your Vibration. You can be depressed, struggling or happy. Which type would you prefer to work with or manage. You can be the person that attracts others and opportunities. It can happen immediately.
