Master The Interview
Interviews Are One Path to a Better Future. Even When We Are Recruited by the Competition, We Have to Pass the Test.
While most people think they have to learn to answer the anticipated questions correctly, the biggest part is passing the emotional decision made by the Interviewer(s).
The Emotional Test is the interviewer deciding whether they like you and think would be a great addition to the team and fulfill the potential they seek for the available role.
After the Interviewer makes the emotional decision, they will consider your answers to test the logic of their decision. Do they like you and can you fulfill their requirements or do they not like you but still think you are the right person. (the latter is usually a failed the test).
The best posture is often called Executive Presence. It is an aura that is commanding, confident, and authoritative.
How you appear, your posture, and the clarity of your answers build the Executive Presence. There are other qualities but trying to develop this presence is the best strategy.
We spend hours learning the qualities of Executive Presence, rehearsing most likely questions, and time with the categories of question. Most questions are direct but there are many questions within questions and traps where they want to test suspicions.
One criteria is whether they think you will remain and not hop for more money, better learning, or a more interesting role.
The Six One Hour Sessions of 1:1 Zoom meetings guide you through the lessons to change who you are and how you show up. You set the schedule. You can do them every day, once a week, once a month. I have follow up courses that run a year.
