This could be the first day of the rest of your life. 


It could be the day you decide to change who you are and how you show up. 


For starters that could have a big impact on how you are perceived at work by peers and superiors. It will definitely have an effect on your interviews. 


But, that is just a start. The big picture is who we are in our lives. Who did we always want to be? What did we always want to be? What big contribution do we want to make that will not only make us proud but be our legacy. When we are 80 and looking back, it would be fun to say, I did that. 


You want to be a more powerful person for your mate, your family, your organization, your friends and of course for your own self-esteem.


We have power. We all have the same power but in some it is developed and in others it is in remission. 


Our power is shaped by our dream, our commitment, and then our determination. 


We need a strong "why".  Why do you want what you want? For a short exercise, ask yourself what you want. When you answer ask why again. Do that 4 or 5 times if you can. Where do you wind up? 


It is my experience, and I have had professionals ask me what my experience is of people's most common limiting belief. It is mostly the same in everyone, They want to know if they have the right stuff. People climb Everest to get to the top, but they don't risk their lives just for that view. What they need is the confirmation they can do it. That they have the right stuff. There was even a movie with that title. Crazy pilots who could do the impossible. 


But then, why do extreme athletes risk their lives? Sure its fun to jump off cliffs, but isn't that a little dangerous? I once thought I could eliminate fear by doing the two things that scarred me most, skydiving and hang gliding. So I talked two friends into skydiving back when we did it solo. One friend broke their leg. I found I was terrified, but that the fear could be handled. I learned you cannot eliminate fear. I decided not to try hang gliding.


But, back to earth. After jumping off cliffs, what other challenges do we have in our lives? We want to get promoted, write a book, speak up at meetings, lead an organization, start a business, find a mate, get healthy, run a marathon and so on. 


What does the little voice in our head say about each new exciting thought? You can do it! or that might be a little beyond your capabilities. Be careful. 


The little voice is our subconscious telling us about what we have learned in our lives that will predict how we would do.  Yes, maybe limiting beliefs. 


Time to end the subconscious running our lives in a manner that does not give us the success we want, need, and deserve. Yes we want, need and deserve success. It is who we are as humans. We should experience all three. 


We will go through that together. 


We will examine your current situation. Explore your limiting beliefs and challenge them. Then we will start to reintroduce your subconscious to who you are and how you are going to be successful. We will reshape it to support our drive. It can be done and is a moldable part of who we are as humans. We can change our direction and bolster our resources and attack.
